A very special thanks to all of our 2025 volunteers.

Volunteer for Safe Ride Home Sudbury’s Holiday Campaign and enjoy a unique and fun experience while making a significant contribution to the safety of our community.

How Volunteering for SRHS Works?

Throughout the holiday season, clients are driven home in their own vehicle, by a team of volunteers to prevent impaired driving. Teams are made up of 2 volunteers, an Escort Driver and a Designated Driver.

Keeping you fueled.

Each night, volunteers meet at our headquarters at NORCAT, 1585 Maley Drive, at 8:00 pm and the night typically ends around 2:00 am. We’ve got unlimited Tim Hortons coffee, YIGS sandwiches and desserts and Topper’s Pizza to keep you fueled.

We make volunteering fun!

Volunteers share in a unique and fun experience while making a difference in our community. Make new friends, win prizes, and enjoy the camaraderie of the Safe Ride Home team. Plus, at the end of every annual campaign, we host a Volunteer Appreciation Party full of prizes and great food that you won’t want to miss!

Many volunteering options.

Volunteer solo, with a friend, or as a large group from your workplace. Volunteer for one night or as many nights as you want. We’ll coordinate around your availability and make sure you’re paired up with your requested partner/group.
