Together, with the help of our partnerships, our goal is to prevent impaired driving and educate our community on planning for a safe ride home. We couldn’t do it without our strong community partners!
GSPS hosts SRHS during the GSPS R.I.D.E. Program year-round to spread awareness of our message and mission. We distribute Tim Hortons’ gift cards as a thank you for not driving impaired. This initiative has been highly successful in delivering our important message to plan ahead for a Safe Ride Home.
Students from the Cambrian College Police Foundations Program are a critical component to our operations. They are our support crew during the Holiday Ride Campaign at our headquarters.
Norcat generously donates its space for the operational headquarters of the Holiday Ride Campaign and provides SRHS with year-round support.
Safe Ride Home Sudbury participates in community initiatives and hosts its own events to bring awareness to impaired driving in our community, and the importance of planning ahead for a safe ride home.
A fun day for the family to get out and support the fight against impaired driving. Hosted at Kivi Park, Safe Ride Home Sudbury holds races for all ages - even Stewie races! Stay tuned for the upcoming walk/run in 2023.
Lesli and Stewie from Safe Ride Home Sudbury visit Cambrian College and Laurentian University to speak to students about the importance of planning for a safe ride home and the dangers of driving impaired. This is a very impactful community initiative that resonates with the students in our community.
Stewie and Lesli join the GSPS at the Santa Claus Parade Float to spread holiday cheer and remind the public to stay safe during the holiday season.
Joining our partner, Tim Hortons, we spread awareness about our mission to customers supporting Tim Hortons Camp Day.
